Fitzpatrick chaired ALI-ABA's 13th annual advanced course, Current Developments in Employment Law, and made three presentations, one on the Supreme Court's Employment Law Developments; another on Emerging Employment Issues Under State Law; and finally as a commentator on Separation from Employment: Severance, Settlement and Internal Revenue Code, Section 409A. Summer 2006 The summer 2006 issue of the American Bar Association's publication, The International Lawyer, publishes an article by Robert B. Fitzpatrick on the European Union's Age Directive as Implemented in the United Kingdom and appears at page 481 et seq. July 19, 2006, Mr. Fitzpatrick co-hosted a tele-seminar for ALI-ABA, Supreme Court Roundup on Employment Law.
